Use a Computer

The library has 12 public computers with Internet access.

The Letts Public Library does not monitor and has no control over the information accessed through the internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. Please note that not all sources on the internet provide accurate, complete or current information. All Internet resources accessible through the library are provided equally to all library users. Parents or guardians, not the library or its staff, are responsible for the Internet information selected and /or accessed by their children. Parents or guardians--and only parents or guardians--may restrict their children--and only their children--from access to Internet resources accessible through the library.

1. Time limit of 30 minutes if someone else is waiting

2. Limit 2 persons at the computer desk at a time.

3. Time may be reserved for use.

4. You may not install programs on computer.

5. You can not save to the hard drive.

6. Librarian is available to assist only.

7. No games on computer.

8. Access to any service via the internet that charges a

fee for usage is not allowed. If a user gains access to

any service which has a cost involved or if a user incurs other types of costs, the user will be responsible for those


9. Anyone who tampers with switch settings, move, reconfigure,

or, do anything that could damage workstation or service

components will be asked to leave, and charge for damages.

10. The library will not provide e-mail accounts.

11. Under 18 year of age must have a sign parent permissionPatron at Computer

slip before using computer.
